NCOH role: Asbestos exposure monitoring of council staff and contractors during remediation works at a former quarry containing NOA.

​

Project goals: to ensure staff and contractors' exposure levels to asbestos during the works was below the relevant SafeWork Australia exposure standard and that works were conducted in accordance with all relevant legislations and standards.

​

Outcome: Exposure levels were below the exposure standard throughout the project for all staff and contractors and council completed the project on time and on budget.
